Mint chocolate chips cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup butter softened
1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1½ tsp. peppermint extract
5 drops of green green food coloring (I used about 3 drops, use how many you want to make the cookies the color green you like)
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tarter
¼ tsp. salt
6 ounces  Mint Baking Chips
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Mix butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, green food coloring and peppermint extract
Mix again during 2-3 minutes.
In a separate bowl mix the all dry ingredients. Add the dry ingredients mixture to the creamed mixture.
Then mix until well combined. Stir in the mint chips and the chocolate chips.
Using a small cookie scoop or a teaspoon, drop dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Allow to cool 3 minutes,; remove from the cookie sheet and place on a wire rack
Serve warm or cool completely
